37 Aug 20 Reply Thanks Helen...fun is a value that I hold fast to :-) Aug 27th
37 Aug 20 Reply The reflection is of a large spool of fishing net. I did crop tightly largely due to this image being part of a photo essay where the entire essay set the context. As a standalone image, your suggestion is a good one, thanks. Aug 27th
37 Aug 20 Comment The use of over saturated color complements the story of how overstressed the virus has made our lives. It is a powerful addition to the image. Well done! Aug 27th
37 Aug 20 Comment I see a powerful storyline of the stream leading to the temple with a mass of light beyond. There are also people on the trail along the stream, part of the story. Since the image is already monochrome, do you think a B&W image would have more impact? Cropping out the right side might add to the impact as well. To me, this is a fascinating image. Aug 27th
37 Aug 20 Comment Peter, you've beautifully captured one of the many moods of Mt Rainier and the technical quality looks spot on. Classic image! Aug 27th
37 Aug 20 Comment Perfectly captured BIF images are very difficult to achieve. It's a one time deal as those who pursue nature photography experience. I really appreciate the excellence of this image. Congratulations to the owl as well :-) Aug 8th
37 Aug 20 Comment What an interesting transformation from original 1. The nature photographer in me would be happy with original 2, and the new creative space you established in the final adds imagination and feeling. A very nice example of how the image maker (you) and the subject can interact to produce something unique. Cheers! Aug 8th
37 Aug 20 Comment Helen, this image just draws me in between the palette, the pattern and the framing. I think it is an excellent example of a well crafted contemplative image, as I understand the concept. Well done! Aug 8th
