Thanks for your suggestions. The changes you suggested definitely modify the story I was telling.

Thanks for your comment. That works also...It does raise their significance in the image.
I wanted them off center a bit because they are looking left. I wanted the space they were looking into to be bigger to represent the vastness of their mystery. I use the same technique on a lot of bird photos....more space in the direction they a looking. |

What a story in this image! As a student here, I would expect a stern educational environment. The composition is very powerful. The four priests seem to be pillars holding up the massive structure behind them. Their stern expressions maybe expressing the weight of the burden they carry.
Marvelous! |

Ah, the perennial question: to perceive and document or to conceptualize and modify. Interestingly, the wall, planted flowers AND the Moai are all artifacts of homo sapiens. The stone of the wall and the Moai, along with the flowers are artifacts of nature, an interesting co-mingling. Long after I took this shot, I saw the Wall as a barrier between us and the Mysteries...I'm always looking for the story :-) |

A very nice transformation of 'real' objects to concepts in light. The effect of the image is very inviting. Might crop a bit of the bottom off. It would look really nice enlarged and hanging on a wall. :-) |

Gorgeous! The sun is setting and the barn is abandoned. And yet surrounded by abundance...what an interesting metaphor!
I've rarely seen such a sunset captured so perfectly. |

There seems to be a line from the ridge line of the mountain glacier down to the village. The houses are also white in color like the glacier. Both these elements seem to tell a story of connection between the mountain and the village. Makes me wonder about how the villagers feel about their mountain. I really like the composition and lighting... they combine well. |

There's a lot of dynamic energy in this image. The pastoral calm belies the sweeping power of the river's bend. A great capture of that compositional element! Beautiful! |

A very powerful use of line and shape and the reflection is a perfectly placed accent to the composition. Perhaps the ripples in the reflection are a comment about San Fran's shaky reputation :-) |
