96 May 20 Comment Gerard here, just joined. I love the way this image has evolved, this process of refinement seems very exciting. I normally aim for high contract and your final image seems to me to have become an excellent example. For me, the selection of the subject the clarity are both excellent. One comment and one suggestion: the original black and white seemed to me to have more detail and the texture of clouds with their reflection caught my eye; the later image appears more foreboding and I think that would be further enhanced if you cropped out the left third, all the way beyond the shed so that the main building moves from the center to the left side - I think it then becomes more ominous.
