Hi Kamal, a very impressive building you've captured, there is plenty of detail, and the tonal changes throughout the structure are beautifully presented. On my screen I'm noticing some unusual markings in the sky on the right?hand side, faint square shapes that are just visible. A light blur in that area might help soften them. A lovely capture overall, and thank you for sharing the background story. |

Hi Ingrid, a lovely, well?timed capture with a really nice moment between the two birds. Lovely lighting to go with the event. I do find the background a touch distracting, with the mix of sharp and softer areas drawing the eye a little. On my screen there also seems to be a faint vertical line from top to bottom - perhaps just an artefact from bringing the birds a bit closer together. |

Hi Darcy, what a quandary. To my eye, achieving your goal of focusing attention on the droplets and patterns doesn't quite land, as there are variations in sharpness across those elements as well. I do like the idea of drawing the viewer's interest toward the core, perhaps by increasing the blur in the surrounding areas and even considering a tighter crop.
As another suggestion, you could select only the yellow core and, in Camera Raw, push the yellow in the colour temperature quite a bit to create a subtle glow effect. I'm not sure whether that aligns with your artistic intent, but it is always fun to experiment. |

Hi Stephen, thank you very much for those comments, and a good suggestion for identification of the scene.
The building is the new Sydney fish markets, opened very recently. The architect designed the building roof based on replicating fish scale and ocean waves. Architecture firm was 3XN from Denmark. Thank you for visiting our group. |

Hi Greg. Well processed, nice idea to experiment with textures, the texture and colour wash works well with the chosen car. A suggestion the windows on the car right side show the original image, perhaps a selection and colour shift might remove the original a bit. Nice work |

Welcome to the group! I'm eager to see your images. You've captured a spectacular monolith with impressive sharp detail, especially where the trees stand out against the sky along the mountain edge. On my screen, the image appears a bit flat, and I'm not sure the Bison contribute much at this scale, though I've never seen one and would love to someday. I hope you don't mind, I have experimented a little with your image. While the sky is interesting, emphasizing it too much can draw attention away from the mountain. I adjusted the sky, except behind the mountain, increased the mountain's contrast, and reduced the foreground luminosity. |
