Hi Kamal, well balanced image! I particularly like the way you have handled the tonal range in the water and the prominent front edge of the net. The composition with the positioning of the boat works very well, together with the definition of the workers making the shot. Nice image. Wishing you a Joyfull Festive season. |

Hey Erin, what a lovely portrait and great location shot! The processing looks fantastic. Just being a bit picky here, but with your Photoshop skills, maybe try applying a slight Gaussian blur to the bridge on the right-hand side. Also, consider removing the sky along the bridge line to make it blend better. Again, just my very picky suggestion!
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas and festive season! |

Hi Karen! This shot has such a very dark moody feel. I'm a big fan of dark mood shots, but I think this one could really pop with a clearer focus. If the bird is the main point I agree with the crop, however, maybe try dropping the bird and putting the spotlight on those lovely white flowers along the shoreline instead. Also, gently bringing up the sea waves towards the background could add some nice depth, especially with that misty backdrop-it really sets the mood! Hope you don't mind, I had a play with your image to show what I meant. Thanks so much for sharing, and wishing you and your loved ones a super Merry Christmas and a joyful festive season! |

Hi Ingrid,
Very nice image! I particularly like the foreground tree anchoring the composition-it's a strong choice. The mountains, however, appear a bit flat on my screen. As an experiment, try darkening the shadows in the mountains a bit more to add depth and definition. Hope you dont mind I had a play with your image as a suggestion, attached
One small point: the red and white cars on the road catch my eye repeatedly. I suggest removing them to keep the focus on the natural elements.
Overall, great work! and wishing you and you close ones a Merry Christmas festive season. |
