14 Apr 25 Reply Thanks Karen, definitely a misleading title. I was on a walk with the camera club on the day, and this fact doesn't relate to the image. New title, a good call. Thanks tom Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Reply Thank you for those suggestions Igrid. More detail in the darks is a good idea. regards Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Reply Thank you for that Greg Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Comment Hi Kamal, well captured, and great choice to shoot from a low angle, really gives strength to the image. Perhaps edit out the tree branches on the right, well captured and presented image. Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Comment Hi Erin, very nice scene you have captured. I agree that the white pole is a bit of a distraction, and perhaps cropping this out may help. I am not a fan of saturation all the colours in the image, but perhaps follow that idea and feature the three, perhaps four buildings for that treatments only. Bring them out and make them feature with the rest of the image as support. I do love these old-style buildings and scenes. Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Comment Hi Greg, you have created another nice grid display. In this one, I find the centre image Caye Caulker seems to be lost in the background. The images are strong enough to stand alone, and in this collage. Looks good Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Comment Hi Darcy, Nice composition letting the viewer settle on the main subject, then allowing the viewer to explore the slopes leading upward. I agree with Ingrid that the bright spot needs to be removed. I think the main subject needs to be featured a bit more, perhaps the gazebo a bit brighter, not much, or the background toned down a fraction. Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Comment Hi Karen, lovely vista, well presented in landscape mode. The threatening cloud to the clear sky sets the scene, enhanced with the side lighting on the rock face. Details are good in the main subject area. Apr 18th
14 Apr 25 Comment Hi Ingrid. I have always loved this style of image, I suppose, minimalism. Again, well captured from a car window. Exposuer handled very well to avoid blown out sections and reveal the textures and contours of the show. Details and changing textures/colours on the fence line are also handled well. All together well-seen, captured and processed well Apr 18th
