Hi Darcy thank you for that, yep the hot spots need to go, amazing that I did not recognise these until others pointed out to me, I probably need to be more critical before I post.
Thank you |

Thank you Ingrid, It seems like the hot spots need to be addressed, and your suggestion for removing the mono elements is worth an experiment.
I do like the technical side of photography and experimenting with techniques in capturing my images with stacking and blending images adds to the challenge which I enjoy, also being an old retired chap, I have more time on my hands :)
Thank you for that input |

Thank you, Karen. It seems like addressing the hot spots and using the stroke is a good idea. I need to consider the background when posting.
I appreciate that we all have different preferences in this art form and we appreciate different looks and feels of images. Your first opinion is more than acceptable to me, but thank you for the second look and your positive comments. In my club, I am known as the "prince of darkness" because many of my images have a dark and moody feel, often not appreciated by judges. :)
Thank you for that input |

Thanks for that input Greg, yes the hot spots need to be toned down, and your comments on the background raises that I need to be aware of the display format when posting, the stroke is a good idea.
Thanks for that |

Hi Kamal, I do like your use of selective focus concentrating on the main subject leaving the foreground and background slightly blurred but still part of the scene.
Contrast between the boy and fish is enough to draw the viewer into the scene. Quite interesting to see the process which I was not aware of previously, well seen and presented. |

Hi Erin, well caught on a beautiful background of flowers, colors and detail present well. I agree with Leslie on the additional crop, as (on my screen) there is plenty of detail to support a closer crop. |

Very well handled Greg, everything presents extremely well, including the fish was a good choice. |

Very interesting viewpoint. The eye is drawn down through the valley to the gap in the rock faces, leading the viewer to ponder the rest of the journey to the distance mountains. Processing and sky treatment works well. As a suggestion I would sharpen and add a slight increase in luminance to the foreground elements, plants and close rocks, aiming to give a bit more depth to the image. There is also a bright element left of the center monolith which I would clone out.
Well caught and presented

Definitely abstract and intriguing. Makes the view think and interrogate.
For me it works with the metallic graphic element and the various zones added to with the symmetry.
Well seen and captured |
