14 Jan 24 Comment Hi Erin you have caught the action extremely well with the crowd's reaction playing into this image beautifully. For me I don't believe separating the crowd is necessary for this image as I see it as an integral part of the action. As a sporting action shot, I like this image. Well capture Jan 11th
14 Jan 24 Comment Hi Kamal well captured aerial shot positioned on a slight angle. The main subject is positioned well in the frame, with the details of the boat and the workers being presented well. I find that the reflection off the water draws me initially, while there is very little you can do about that, might I suggest just brightening the area around the workers in the boat a bit more so that they are on a reasonably close luminous level to that reflection. Well seen and captured image Jan 11th
14 Jan 24 Comment Hi Darcy great capture of the gargoyle, brings back many memories of my visits to these ancient buildings around England and the impressive architecture of the times. Nice tonal balance throughout the image works well and the detail in the s main subject is handled well. As a suggestion to separate the main subject from the background, a bit more, I suggest a selection of the main subject or the background and then put a bit more blur on the background. I had a quick attempt as per the attached to demonstrate my suggestion. nice image well seen and captured Jan 10th
14 Jan 24 Comment Hi Ingrid lovely well well-composed image, I particularly like the main subject sitting sandwiched between three carriages. If it were my image I would remove the power lines, doesn't seem to fit into the era of the main subject.
I do like the colouring of the various carriages which seems to be in a similar hue range. The background works well with the buildings giving a feel of a working train depot.
As a suggestion and again this is a personal approach, I would probably turn down the clarity and soften the image to give a feel of nostalgia that goes with the train itself, that would just be my approach to this image.
Lovely well lovely image well seen and captured

14 Jan 24 Comment Another well-captured and composed image. Joe looking straight at the camera draws the viewer in, and the lighting is handled exceptionally well with detail in the darks presented well. No suggestions from me, it woks well as it is. Jan 10th
14 Jan 24 Comment Nice image Karen, captures an autumnal feel. I like the framing with the eye drawn to the canoe assisted by the bright white building adjacent. I don't mind the bush in the lower corner, I think it constrains the viewer to the scene presented. As a suggestion, be adventurous with the colours as the reds and yellows in the scene could pop out a bit more, particularly on the left of the image. The new Point selector in the colour mixer in Camera Raw is a good tool for this helps to isolate the tones for adjustment. well seen and captured Jan 10th
