Very nice image Kamal and from a high view point makes it much more interesting. I do enjoy the challenge of night photography as it looks like you do as well.
Thanks for the comment.

Hi Karen, a lovely event and you must be honored to be requested to photograph this event.
Onn my scree it looks like the skin tones need to be even out , to much contrast. I attempted in the new Lightroom/ Photoshop Color Mixer Point Colour tool. File size was a bit small to work with, however my attempt attached. I then decided to see if B&W was a good approach, which I think is an option to try. hope this give you a line to follow |

Hi Kamal, very colorful image, the dancer displaying the costume, your cropping and the placement of the moon on a diagonal line thorough the dancer all come together to make a great image. well captured and handled |

Hi Erin, nice image and well captured showing the effort being applied to the run. While it is as very nice and keepable photo of your daughter, for an event photo I suggest waiting another few seconds to get the next runner in the shot as well, showing the nature of an event and competition. So depends on the intent of the photo, If it was a nice photo of your daughter this is a nice image and well handled. Congratulations to your daughter for the effort she is putting in |

Hi Greg. Well processed image particularly from the starting image which appears to be extremely messy, you have done a good job of isolating this Knight from the background. Your choice to go monotone I think works extremely well, with a nice full tonal range in the image itself. Not much I can suggest to change in this image all in all I think it looks good. |

Hi Darcy, nice capture with that lens it does provide plenty of detail and tonal range which is often lost in the Pelican's whiteness with the sharpness looking more than acceptable. I do like the reflection and the dripping water from the pelican's beak. Placement in the frame is good although you may want to consider cropping a degree from the top of the image that doesn't seem to be adding too much to the image story. |

Hi Ingrid.
I do love these old barns they definitely have a character about them and not the style that we see in Australia. For me, the sky replacement works well although the transition from the barn to the background just seems a bit too sharp, not necessarily a realistic look. I do appreciate how difficult it is to get these shots while driving, but I would have preferred to have at least one complete barn in the shot. Both these are subjective assessments for my taste. |
