Hi Karen.
A nice well-captured image and a great memory of the day. The front lighting works well particular on the faces with no major shadow issues or colour balance issues in the image. Great detail in the dresses and the hair with all the highlights in the hair depicted well.
Photographically I'm not a fan of the reflection of the mother, however, as a memory, I think the reflection of the mother works extremely well and adds to the moment. A very minor suggestion might be the bright light above the mother could be turned down just marginally. Well captured particularly at 1/40 of the second. |

Works well now, and the book is not so distracting. |

Hi Kamal,
A nice environmental image depicting a feeling of warmth and comfort on the late afternoon. The silhouettes of the people and the boat in my view add to the scene by depicting the activity without having any major central point of interest. Your placement of the tip of the boat and some of the people directly in line with the water reflection works well. While the sun is not totally blown out might I suggest copying a bit of the broken cloud and overlay in just a section of the sun to break up that massive white spot a quick edit is attached. |

Hi Xiao
Lighting on the face and body of the model works well.
Nice work on both recovering the foot and giving some depth and tone to the dress. The pose with the model replicating the line of the tree, works very well, albeit the people in the background are a distraction.
I do believe that the book is a bit overpowering I prefer the original with the pages not being so illuminated and having a bit of texture and I believe the front cover needs something even if it is the original blurred or changed however to my eye the bright red cover is very distracting and draws the eye straight away taking away from the rest of the image. Well-captured and processed |

Hi Greg nice environmental portrait.
This definitely shows the intent of the player (your grandson) with full concentration on the next play.
If you had space in your original capture I would suggest a bit of a wider crop on the image left, just to give that depth of field to where he is gazing. I agree with your comment on the background needs a bit more work particularly the light area on the lower third and the white stripe at the back both draw the eye and a very distracting also the front of his right arm there seems to be a halo that you might want to try to get rid of.
Nice image and I have a huge number of shots of my kids playing sports always enjoy going out and watching them play. both now grown up and I am looking forward to watching my grandkids play their choice of sport.

Hi Ingrid.
I like this image extremely graphic feel, while still maintaining that photographic look. I like how you have left the detail of the decay within the leaves themselves, displaying the progression of the season as you have indicated.
Your selections for cutting out look extremely good with no apparent artefacts
The only comment I would make, as an experiment perhaps give it more of a 3D feel by giving the top leaf a bit more luminance and on the other two reducing the luminance a little bit, or in photoshop a minor drop shadow. |
