Hi Ingrid thank you for the comments, particularly like your suggestion to use the Skew tool to bring the pontoon in alignments with the pole. |

Hi Kamal, A nice aerial image you have done well to capture process and straightened very well, with the image and the distance giving a great idea of the environment that these fishermen are working in. It also looks like they're having a good time and waving back at you. Nice colour and texture in the after adds to the image. |

Hi Xiao
Well composed and edited image, you have done a good job, as Greg has indicated, with address the missing foot. The texture of the background create a very realistic feel to the image and the lighting on the model is handled very well. looking at the image there is a Protrusion from the bottom of the handbag I'm not too sure whether it is part of the handbag (I'm not a fashionista, in fact far from it) or is it a stick on the ground but either way to me it is a very minor distraction you might want to address. . |

Hi Darcy nice choice to use selective focus on the bee, allowing the detail and colour of the bee, particularly the wing to come through.
Background is diffused enough to allow a sense of presence and depth without distracting from the image.
Might I suggest a harder crop of the image getting rid of most of the stem and see if you can turn down the top of the plant to me it looks a tad overblown, drawing away from the the bee and the colour of the flower itself.
Well seen and captured |

Hi Greg Thanks for that, the lighting was there although it was very subdue the image is a stack of two images. Also the saturation level is a bit is my inclusion as well, under the lighting conditions there was very little colour present. |

Hi Karen well seen image very strong geometric influences capturing many triangular elements.
Tonal balance of the colours is strong and the framing of the image draws my eye immediately to the window element which is well-positioned just off center.
While I like the image as it is I'm not too sure that I would not crop out the handrailing and associated top white section of that, on image right. To me it adds another element which I don't think is necessary having said that to me it is not a major distraction just a thought process I would go through.
Well seen and captured thanks for sharing |

Hi Jack,
Thank you for taking the time to visit and for your kind comment on my image. You have also motivated me to visit other groups and comment on other images. I do admit that I often push my images to the darker moody side and when I view other people's images I do notice of my preference is always for that style. I wonder what the motivation for why we like particular types of images is, as I do not consider myself a moody person, in fact quite cheery and outgoing. But it's a good thing that there is a massive diversity in our photographic world. Again thanks for taking the time to visit and comment and I hope you have plenty of opportunities to enjoy your photographic journey.

Hi Ingrid. I also have an affinity for taking shots and isolating windows in walls, don't know what motivates me I just find this an interesting form of photography.
I particularly like your image well framed and proportioned, the detail within the window itself is beautifully exposed with the curtain still providing a degree of secrecy letting the imagination wander. The textures and tonal range on both the stone and the timber shutters are handled beautifully with the slight vignette helping draw the eye back to the window
Altogether a lovely shot, not much I can offer in way to improve I like it as it stands

Hi Greg, definitely brought a smile to my face when I opened this :),
This image works well, the model blends well and looks like part of the environment, background blurr works well creating a fine environmental portrait.
Nice well executed composite |
