Hi Syed a very bright colourful image that captures the eye immediately. I particularly like the transitions from the bright fully saturated areas to the shadows, the contrast. Works well. Taken from directly above the people give a interesting viewpoint. Thanks for sharing |

Hi Xiao,
Well presented image, the models pose works well and the interesting effect of the reflection adds to the image. I agree with Greg that the reflective surface on the Models legs is very distracting. The background in the reflection works well giving a sense of location, perhaps consider toning down the top of the column a minor amount. Well presentedimage, with you idea to use the reflective surface being very creative, thanks for sharing. |

Hi Darcey
Wow-what an unusual event to happen in your neighbourhood, I'm sure your local press would have been very interested in this image at the time. Well captured and your point of view depicts the scale of the balloon with the cluster of the housing showing a true story of the crowded environment the pilot had available to land the balloon. The image itself is presented well however I think that you could gain a more dramatic effect by perhaps reducing the sky and the rooftops to a minor degree and then increasing the brightness and vibrance of the balloon itself, again just to a minor degree very subtle changes would in my view improve the impact on the first time somebody views of. Great image good photojournalist type photograph and well-presented thanks for sharing

Hi Karen
Will captured and processed image I like your very tight crop and portrait formatting for this image, to me it provides enough detail and depiction of the event without any unnecessary detail. You have handled the darks extremely well and bought out all the details necessary on the machinery showing the flywheel the various cogs and the drive wheels themselves. The processing of the gentleman works very well particularly your capture of the light on his face directly. Your removal of the background detail behind the wheel works well the only comment I would have is perhaps bringing down the luminous level of the sky, just a small amount may further enhance the view of the driver. Altogether well captured and processed image thanks for sharing

Hi Greg.
Love this image your processing has definitely brought the eye directly to the main feature which has great clarity and sharpness with the mood betrayed by the darkening clouds, the sidelight on the barn enhances the barn itself and is presented in a lovely light. The only negative comment I have is that there is an apparent minor artefact leftover from your masking on the barnes roof right-hand side that you may want to mask out. All in all lovely image or captured and well-processed thanks for sharing

Hi Ingrid.
I always love these images of old ramshackle structures from our rural heritage, you have done well to capture this while driving. All parts of the image are sharp and present well with the tonal range also very good throughout the structure itself. It's difficult to comment on your layout given the way was captured however the structure on the image left could probably contribute to the image if we could see the full amount, I am of two minds as of is to recommend removal as it does seem to fit the structure itself. To me, the image seems to have the same tonal value throughout and there is no central focus point in the image, I have taken the liberty of playing with your image and using vignettes bought the focus to the wall around the door. Again this is just a suggestion and processed for my eye. Thanks for sharing and again well done to capture this at those speeds |
