Thanks to all! Yes, the car should be removed if I use this for a section where removal of stuff is allowed. But I will crop some of the right side,to get rid of the white spots on the ground and get the house off center. |

I agree with you Russ, the bottom is rather confusing. The sky is nice, so I think Lynne's "super-crop" works for me. As a totally new image. |

To me, the clouds are nice, and fits well into the image.I would not change them at all. But I agree with Stephen that the foreground is not too interesting. So, based on the image you have presented to us, my preference is to cut as much as possible of the foreground while keeping all of the rocks. Make it landscape format, lightening the image a bit, except he snow. Just one of several alternatives, probably. |

Tom, you did it again! Magically converting a somewhat ordinary photo into an excellent image. I am referring to the photo a few months ago, with the two young men and the horse.
Your panorama 16:9 crop nicely fits with the scene. Only thing, I would have preferred it a little brighter. But that's my subjective view. Your final product is very good! |

I think your last version did it very well, Stephen. And Diana, I am impressed with your close-ups and your fresh ideas. Hit or miss demands patience, but is some times the only way to go. Also a decent sharpness, considering 1/25 sec. |

Welcome to the group, Russ. I am quite new myself. I think I would preferred the image darker and with quite a bit more contrast. So I tried to follow that thinking, and also darkened the vignettes. Make it look a bit spooky. Reason is, when I first looked at the image, before reading the text, I thought it was a couple of old pumpkins. So wrong I was... |

I agree with others that it needs a bit more contrast. I like the angle the shot was taken from, you really get the feel of the height and narrowness.
But, Stephen, if you one of these days get a chance to visit Norway, you will have to look hard to find a bridge with more than one lane each way. And some even have just one lane, so if you meet midways, one of you will have to back the car! That's where you get those funny video ads from...
Interesting shot from a good angle. |

Thanks to both you and Russ. And yes, I believe you. I have thought about removing the car, but not sure if I should use this image in some competitions. If I use it for Travel sections, the car van not be removed. Perhaps just use it for PIDM, or for landscapes. Or may be not at all? |
