15 Feb 22 Comment Thanks, Billy! I will try that! Feb 16th
15 Feb 22 Reply Thank you, Jeri, I will try the close crop, too. Feb 9th
15 Feb 22 Reply Thank you, Joan, I am glad that it works! Feb 9th
15 Feb 22 Comment Rick, I too see a stargate. Wonderful colors and contrasts that the frame accentuates beautifully. Your garden must be a very special place! Feb 9th
15 Feb 22 Comment Billy, it is perfect! The rich tones of the sky and the reflections on the water make a wonderful mood, showing the slhouette so beautifully. Feb 9th
15 Feb 22 Comment Hi Joan, I love it, too. The sphere of light that encloses the triumverate frames them beautifully, and the way the cat looks at your husband who looks at the computer gives it a wonderful dynamic sense. And this really is a precious moment! Feb 9th
15 Feb 22 Comment Hi Jeri, wonderful colors! I think that you could crop the image in many ways. I would vote for the square format. Feb 9th
15 Feb 22 Reply Thank you, Rick! At first I was sorry about the mask, but I have come to think that it sort of anchors her to the moment. Feb 7th

47 Feb 22 Reply Thanks, Ed! I agree - the sky definitely needs something more than the one little extra cloud. I am beginning to like the coloured version better myself, too. Feb 9th
47 Feb 22 Comment Hi Al, a lovely image. I think that the composition is very much in balance, and I especially like the thin straight line that gives it a tension. The tones and textures are so beautiful.. Feb 9th
47 Feb 22 Comment Hi Jeff, a wonderful image full of rhythm and contrasts. I agree with Al's suggestions about the light on the wall, and about lightening the background slightly. I think that the first step in the front adds depth to the image, and if it were just a bit lighter, one could see it as part of the structure without causing a distraction? Feb 9th
47 Feb 22 Comment Hi Ed, I think that the image tells the story well, and the blue tone adds to the mood. I also like very much the composition, the way the stone walls lead one into the image. I agree with Al and Jeff about adding contrast. Feb 9th
47 Feb 22 Reply Thanks, Al! You are so right! I'll keep working on both versions. Feb 9th
47 Feb 22 Comment Thanks, Jeff! Great, I will try these right away. Feb 6th
