Hi Isaac, congratulations on this beautiful spoonbill photo in the nest. It was definitely worth the entry fee with your photographer's pass. I'm sure it was a great experience for you. |

Hi Don, you've captured a nice action shot with the goalkeeper's save. I don't like the crooked horizon and the crooked goalpost on the right. I've straightened the horizon and the post. |

Hi Gerald, you picked the best of the photos. I have to agree with Bruce, the two people in the background who are in view of the basket bother me in this photo. Whether it will be successful internationally in the PJ category is very difficult to predict. |

Hi Isaac, an interesting croquet photo from you. You can really feel the lady's concentration before the shot. The age of people sometimes has its advantages when it comes to calmness, concentration and composure, which many young athletes lack. |

Hi Bruce, congratulations on this beautiful soccer photo. Even though you unconsciously set the shutter speed to 1/640 sec., the motion blur of the right foot of the girl in the red jersey gives the photo a special touch. |

Thank you for your comments. The red reflections in the water are the flowers of rhododendron bushes right next to the water, these are reflected on the surface of the water. The photo was taken in May, the month when the rhododendrons are in bloom. |

Hi Sylvia, nice shot of a hawk. I have to agree with Katie, the photo seems a bit soft to me, maybe you cropped it too tight. At full resolution it seems to be a bit noisy. |

Hi Roy, you've taken a great photo. Two birds in pink harmony, optimal sharpness, good composition and image processing as well as the long focal length of 800 mm have made this beautiful photo possible. |

Hi Isaac, thanks for your comment. Cormorants are a protected species and may not be hunted, often much to the annoyance of pond owners, as they do catch a lot of fish. |
