Hi Bruce, I agree, the hat is part of the story of the photo, so cropping the photo further is not useful. |

Hi Kerry, a great action photo you managed. You have chosen the right crop and your image processing is optimal. With aperture 3.5, you have succeeded in placing the focus optimally on the leader and the other drivers are thus blurred. |

Hi Ronald, a nice cricket photo of yours. Triggered at the right moment. The sharpness is top and the facial expression of the batsman give the photo something special. |

Hi Bruce, another nice action rodeo photo from you. That must have been a painful experience for the rider. I like your crop of the photo better than the original. The man on the right in the background is distracting when looking at the picture. |

Hi Isaac, you managed to take a nice photo of horse jumping. You triggered at the right moment when the rider was over the obstacle. The photo would also be a good advertisement for Rolex. |

Hi Gerald, you have chosen a good location and the low perspective enhances the image effect. I can only agree with the opinion of Isaac Original 2 is also for me the favorite. |

Hi Bruce, a class bird photo of you. Selective focus to the point and the bokeh of the 400 mm lens is very advantageous here. The striding bird gives the photo a special touch. Well done. |

Hi Tom, Thanks for your comment and the image detail. Since the two crowned cranes always flew in pairs during this air show, I deliberately included both in the photo. It's okay that you took the liberty of removing the second crowned crane in the picture. |

Hi Kathie, welcome to group 97. You show us a beautiful Red-browed Finch right at your debut. Congratulations for finding such beautiful birds in your garden. The image processing is well done. Unfortunately the bird is cropped at the bottom, it would be nice if the crop wasn't so tight and showed the whole bird. |

Hi Kathleen, welcome to the group 59. You show us here a beautiful photo of the mute swans on your morning walk. Personally, I am disturbed by the long blade of grass on the right that protrudes into the picture. Roy has already recognized this correctly and cropped the photo accordingly, so that the view is more focused on the swans. |

Hi Julia, nice that you move away from the view with your photo and show the bird from behind. The detail of Roy I like better, because the bird is so more prominent. |

Hi Jim, Beautiful photo of the Blue Heron. I have to agree with Roy that the photo could be cropped at the top and bottom and that there could be a little more space in the photo on the left in the direction of flight. |

Hi Roy, nice photo of the Cormorant, the bright blue eyes give the photo something special. In the 100% view it seems to me that the eye autofocus is not accurate, it seems to me that the focus is more on the body. |

Hi Roy, Thank you for your detailed explanations of the birds. I forgot to mention that the photo is a 50% crop. |

Hi Sylvia, you have managed a beautiful photo of the owl. Roy's cropping enhances the image quality considerably. To the right of the owl the bright spots behind the green leaves distract the eye from the owl. By cropping Roy, the view is on the owl and is not distracted. |
