Thanks for your vote of confidence. I do like the calf looking at the camera. |

Ian, I am sorry but I missed that you are recovering from something so I want to extend my best wishes for a speedy recovery. Before I saw the title I thought "eyes". I see this as an abstract photo. The spots of color enhance the image as they are in the background and not intrusive. The image has a sense of movement. I can imagine the circles jiggling around.
We just watched a TV series that took place in Liverpool called The Responder with Martin Freeman. Really gritty and we really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the PT encouragement. I am still in a lot of pain. I am allergic to anti inflammatory drugs and it is very hard to get oxycodone anymore. PT and doc say I am progressing well but it is slow for me. |

Gary, thanks for your comments. It is actually a pony and calf. We were on a hill but I agree shooting with a more head on would have more impact. |

I admire that you were able to capture this action and 4 different species of birds. Your choice of settings give focus on the action. As pointed out the soft colors of the water are not distracting. |

I think your settings are spot on. What pleases me are the shades of light on the falls. It gives a 3D effect. silky where it needs to be and sharp in the other areas framing the falls. To me your foreground works. |

A dreamscape. You always do such amazing things with your post processing. The ballon really pops. Only thing is I don't see a balloon pilot in the basket. I would think the light house would be warmer in color given the color of the clouds. This must be a beautiful area. |

To me it is an amazing family portrait of a loving mother. Bill's eye treatment works and has alerted me to another tool. I like how the tree colors match the owl colors. I have to admit I am in love with this image. |

Both photos are beautiful but I find the Canon has a richness to it. The Canon version I would have lightened the foreground a bit. You have made an excellent comparison of the two and proven how capable the IPhone is. |
