Beautiful flower with a good non distracting background. It is sharp enough for me. Issac crop has improved it because now one can really see the rain drop which compliments the (I think is called) stigma to make a cohesive image. I had read about your heat wave, hopefully that has passed. |

Have always wanted to see these cute owls, tell Betty Sue well done with the sighting. Didn't notice the feet as I just looking at their eyes, position and sharpness. |

I think the people in the shadows gives a sense of mystery. Your post processing coloring adds to the mystery, I like how you brought out those gorgeous browns. It reminds of a Hopper painter. I really enjoy the shadows. Isn't it nice to be to use new technology on old photos. |

Your original crop feels awkward to me. The barn is beautiful, i will show this to my husband as he loves barns. I am not sure you need the fence given that you have nice deep colors with the green, red and the revised sky of blue. Did they have any lavender fields to photograph? Is the farm in Maryland? |

Sometimes I feel the busyness adds to the effect of the photo. I think it works here. The green on the floor is really a good complement to the pink hues. Because of the colors, textures and subject matter, to me, it is a playful image that I see could be hung in a young person's loft. I prefer the stronger colors of your version. For the black and white image, it really changes the whole atmosphere of it, to show the ravages of time. I would prefer more contrast with the black and white. |
