Very creative and I like the coloring. I think I would like more light on his face rather than below his face. As Guy mentioned, more separation from the eye. The two spars and mast could make a frame. Would make a great movie poster. |

As everyone has said it is a beautiful moment of a beautiful bird. The colors and sharpness are spot on. Very nicely framed. I envy you to have this close to you. Hope to see the babies soon. |

To me it can very philosophical. The light defending against the dark. I like the orientation as the dark tree in shadows looks like it could either trying to attack or retreat. The dark sky with the touch of light at the bottom adds to the story. |

I even like the color version, black and gold always work. Just got a new IPhone and did not know it could shoot raw. Thanks just figured it out. I looked at website, it is beautiful. Nice sweep of the staircase and I am sure you felt lucky to have no one traipsing up and down. |

One of my favorite birds. As everyone has expressed, a lovely appropriate image. The Eastern blue bird is so beautiful and your image makes him pop even more beautifully I never noticed the railings. I prefer the the original orientation. |

After you said that about the sepia, I can see that. Given Gary's comment and yours I can see a better interpretation. |

Very interesting, never noticed the s curve. I will give that a try. I am always partial to dark shadows so I do prefer my monochrome version. I may back down on my vignette. |
