Sorry I am late. I think I see your vision and appreciate it. It does give the misty atmospheric conditions I remember in other parts of Great Britain. I like the 3 layers dark, light , dark. |

Thanks for your vote of confidence. I think the branch leads down to the beak and up to the head. I never submitted it to a competition but may give it a try. |

Just showed your photo to my husband and he thinks it is beautiful with the sky and reflection. He thought the sky and reflection is more interesting than a full moon. Serendipity! |

The textures and bright colors are wonderful. You nailed the bright areas you had darkened. Your HDR is seamless and does not look HDRish.
Is this in Georgia, my husband is a car buff and we could run down there for a few days? |

Really great action shown in this capture. You are correct the blurred legs do show the action. Looks like the bull won. I like the concentrated look of rodeo clown on the bull. I suppose they are the true heroes. You can also see the kicked up dirt under the bull.
If you like independent movies this is quite good about a rodeo rider.

Thanks Bill,
Here is my updated photo, taken from raw. I like my unflipped version. I did make sure the crosshairs of the grid were on his eye. |

Ian, just lovely. The colors are so rich. I like how it is the only man made object around, accentuating isolation. The orange reflection at the bottom of the lighthouse adds to the beauty. |

No need to apologize. I thought it was me. Thanks for your point of view. I am going to try and rework this weekend. Great to have the raw file. |

Oops forgot the title. It is a Common Kingfisher that I found in Ranthambore National Park in India. https://ebird.org/species/comkin1
Thank you for your comments, the flip is interesting. I was trying to get a tight crop to showcase this little bird but I think you may be correct about a little more space. |

Nice separation from background, good use of color and he really looks like he just moved into position giving a feeling of fluidity. |

Very beautiful. The trees mirror the falls. The colors are complimentary. They are truly "earth colors". One can envision the force of the falls at peak times from the looks of the boulders, rocks, and wood strewn about.
