42 May 22 Comment The branch is lacking detail and is blown out. It would be thrown out immediately in a PSA competition. As a guess the club here would give it 776. May 16th
42 May 22 Reply I have hesitated many times commenting on your club. I think you need to bring in a PSA judge to help out. I will go into some more detail on your photo.The pose is good and it is good that you can see the face. The branch is blown out. There is too much contrast because it was shot in full sun. No photo shot like this should score. You need muted light. The dark shadows totally lack detail. The bottom line is I think your judges need to get up to speed. I hope I have not offended you but I am trying to help.

42 May 22 Comment The perch is blown out distracting from the bird. The pose is excellent. The bird is not sharp on my computer and there appears to be noise in the bird also. Was this a large crop?
