I looked at your shutter speed and Fstop to try and guess why the photo is not sharp. I am guessing that your focus spot was way off. |

In my opinion the photo lacks impact. |

I agree about darkening the grass. it is a pictorial shot so you can darken it all you want. Your focus is on the mountain. I think if you had focused 1/3 in from the refection the photos would have been munch sharper. The best refections are sharp. |

On my screen the damselfly focus is closer to the front wing than the eye. If that is what you intended toto see the wing texture than the photo is good. If not, you need to focus on the head. part of the tail has no detail. |

The center flower is your subject i am guessing. I would therefore revoe the in focus near the bottom edge. You could also consider just a tighter crop. The color is great. |

I think my comment was for the next photo-sorry. I do not know how that happened. I like you r photos. Technically it is very good and it is a pleasing photo. I agree about the manhole cover. I would either crop it out or remove it. You might consider removing both. |

I sent the slide into Scan Cafe. I should add that very few of my old slide photos can compare to digital photos. |

I would take out the vertical line behind him. To see it looks over processed. |

The exposure and color look great. On my screen it is not sharp. Sharp would be an improvement but in nature /wildlife it is not that important. It is a good capture. |

Thanks. For sure I agree about the sign depending upon the category. It cannot be removed in documentary for example. |
