Thanks, Pierre. I tried to include more of the waterfall . But the colorful rocks on the sides of the upper fall were not there. The image as captured has a more balance feel to me with the foreground being the cascades of the stream. |

I agree with your mod on the image, Frans. It does bring out more dynamic in the image. Thank you. |

Very nice scene of sunset over a snow capped mountain, Kathryn. You waited for the perfect moment of the day for this image. I only wished that there were more clouds on the right side of the image to balance the colorful sky over the peak. But that is the nature's way to urge us to come back and try again. I processed the image a bit with PS, bringing out some of the tree tops in the shadow and generally darken the sky a bit to reveal more color. It is amazing that just under expose by 1-2 F Stop could bring out so much details in the sky. You might want to try that the next time. |

Hi, Pierre:
This image is a reminder of being there and enjoying the beauty and wonder of nature. The panorama as well as the usual 4:3 crop would work equally well for me. One suggestion for your future capture of image of setting sun with your R5 camera would be that you don't necessarily need to bracket any more with the excellent wide dynamic sensor to this particular camera. In order not to blow out the highlight of the sun rays when shooting into a sun, just underexpose the shot by -3 Fstops. You can then use your favorite image processor to double or triple process the same capture with camera RAW and merge them as you would with two or more bracketed images. You would not see any additional noise or artifact as you would expected with the previous lessor camera sensors. |

A great way to repeat the pattern and texture of cloud and cotton balls. I have nothing more to add to this wonderful and playful image. |
