Lovely image, Pierre. You caught the popular image at a very nice time of the day. I like the nice reflection of the sky in the lake as well as on the rock in the foreground. It is not overprocessed as I could just imagine myself soaking up the view standing there. You might want to go back there at sunrise to capture the sun peaking through the horizon backlighting the Eagle's fall that is next to where you took this image. I don't remember when this image was taken, it must have been in the early 2000s. But you can see that there is lots of potential for this location. |

Interest inclusion of dark sky in the right upper corner. Is that your use of "negative space"? I like it; it gives the ominous drama to an otherwise "normal sunset with a sailboat" shot. |

I completely agree with your assessment, Lamar. In fact, I have done some more processing of this image after reviewing it the second time. I thought the image lacks a "dramatic moment" ingredient. I added the sunstar and increased the contrast in the mid field. What do you think? |
