I am jealous too!
A couple of suggestions to make this amazing shot even stronger:
Agree with desaturating the tent/ dome, so that it does not compete against the AB.
Darken the tree trunk on the right, so it is not distracting.
If you have more space in the bottom, I would include more of the reflection of the AB. |

Nicely done, Todd. With all the Covid lockdown, I really appreciate the tantalizing excitement in this image. Well processed. |

Hi, Pierre:
I always like to see unspoiled snow along a babbling creek which has not frozen over.
It is a bit busy. I wonder if you could go back there under the same condition and approach the edge of the creek. The reflection of the tree trunks could become your main subject and as a foreground, find a branch topped with fresh snow.
Agreed with Lamar, I would try converting the image to monochrome. |

Hi, Lamar:
The Traces of the previous dock evoke a bit of mystery; where is this Port where concrete, instead of wooden quays were used? Who is the owner of the slippers and why is he/she here?
Kathryn's suggestion of flipping the image horizontally is consistent with western language in which we read from left to right. And it just flows better that way.

Agreed with what have been mentioned. I would like to see more of the side-lit grass at the left lower corner of the image. They would offer a counter balance to the image. Nice time of the day to capture this moment in time. Well done, Kathryn. |
