Thank you all for your helpful hints. This image was taken about 5 years ago, when I was not using either TPE or Photopill. Since then, I have tried to use both apps, but find them rather difficult to use in situations when I really needed them. I guess I would just need to get a refresher on youtube each time when I need to find out the locations of sun, Milky Way or moon sets. |

Hi, Judy:
A very nice capture of Hraunfossar Falls during the spring? We were there during the fall, and the green moss areas turned orange and gave it a totally different feel of the place. Iceland has been landscape photographer's dream, highly recommend it for those of you who have yet to visit.
In your original capture, the water has some aquamarine blue hues to it. But that was lost in your final image. I would have extend that color by either 'selective color' or increase saturation in your processing to accentuate it. In fact, as I recalled, that was the color of the pool when I was there. |

Hi, Pierre:
I would agree with Larry's comment on the overall balance of the image. Very well composed. It gave me a sense of calm and peace during this crazy period of riots, social isolation and political upheaval. |

Hi, Lamar:
Very painterly indeed. The word, "rhythm", came to my head when I first viewed this image. The clumps of grass repeating themselves while morphing both in shape and color leading one's eye to the foggy landscape in the distance. Well done.
The only imperfection of this image that you could not have done any differently is the presence of "hands of men", the bridge. The linear figure crossing the entire width of the image did distract my attention. |
