Kathleen - Really like the editing you made to this image, correcting the angles and how you toned it. I think Ed's crop helps make this more of the street image (per Isaac's comment) as it puts more focus on the people in the light rather than the building (which I agree is interesting itself). You could probably tone down the highlights in the upper window or use a radial filter on the people (inverting and lowering the brightness of the rest of the image) which would further emphasize the people on floor below. Johann-I would never have known what the woman was doing without your explanation. It is really subtle. Good eye to catch the moment. Agree that the color version works better here. Maybe a little cropping of the sign on the left side could work here. B |

Ed - Really sharp for a moving image from a car. I prefer the color version as there is more contrast between the young girl and the background. In the original, her red checks and something yellow in her hands stand out but are lost in the B&W. B |

Pinaki - Sweet image. I like seeing them in-focus and off-centered. Seeing the rest of the image further invokes the warmth of an intimate scene. B |

Bev-Thanks for the back story on this. I admire your initiative to speak with the cruise photographer and join him. What a great opportunity for you! You captured a wonderful expression on this woman. She seemed happy to have her photo taken. I didn't see the other things the group pointed out (until they did) as I was focused on the woman. B |

Isaac - Besides their tiaras I also admired the dress code of the sandals! I like the idea ofJohann's edit. Here's a quick look with a radial filter dropping the exposure, highlights and whites on all but the birthday girl. B |
