This is why I like this group!! I agree. Your simple crop makes this a better image. Many thanks. B |

Isaac - Colorful Chaos! So much going on in one small space with all the vibrant colors that make India (in this case Singapore) a special place to experience and photograph. The original images further set the scene. Agree with Pinaki's crop, while the chairs add somewhat to the overall image, the purple scarf could go along with some of the people on the right. B |

Pinaki - Great contrast between the traditional shopper and the young men who appear to be market sellers. The main subject is well-focused with appropriate blurring of the other parts of the scene. IMO, to accentuate the main subject more, I took a stab at some LR edits.... a radial filter that slightly darkens and cools the background as well as a reducing the brightness of the sign white sign seems to help. Ed - I like the image, the leading lines of the path, and how you captured the scale of the woods with the people. However, in the B&W image the two women don't 'pop' nor does the pathway as they do in the color image. On my screen, the highlights seem a bit bright (green leaves and pink jacket). B |

Gloria - A nice portrait and your sepia toning allows the viewer to focus on the two people rather than being distracted by color. There seems to be some artifacts between the people and the building, perhaps a little over-sharpening of the man and boy? B |

Kathleen - I see what you were trying to capture. It is a good image from that perspective, capturing the scale and a bit of a run-down town (from the back). Your lighting, colors and sharpness are all very good. The difficulty I found in the image was to find a focal point other then the building with the flag. B |
