58 Jun 22 Reply Thank you all for your input (yes, I have more than a tendency to include too much in my image(s)). Here's another look. B Jun 20th
58 Jun 22 Reply I like the men praying but agree that the wall looks grungier. As they say, 'You can't have everything. Where would you put it?". B Jun 17th
58 Jun 22 Comment Isaac - What a contrast! Your tight crop really focuses the viewer on the three men praying, two dressed according to the style of their religious group and then my eye moved to the young soldier with an automatic weapon (wearing Tefillin). Question..... any reason that you did not make the blacks 'blacker'? B Jun 16th
58 Jun 22 Comment Sally - I love what you did with the Woody colors (yes, very saturated but I think that was the point). Clearly this car was a star attraction at the show. Perhaps you could tone down the greens surrounding the car so it stands out a bit more on its own? My own 'classic' car was a 10 year old VW Beetle that my mother bought (with my money) for $400 in 1973. It got me through college but I moved to the Cape (near Heritage) for a graduate school program and needed something more reliable (go figure... a Datsun 210 made out of tin foil!). Welcome to the group. I learn something new and useful from these folks every month. B Jun 16th
58 Jun 22 Comment Dan - I would have thought that this premiered in NYC or Hollywood. Who knew about Oconomowoc, WI?? Interesting. Your image is fun, colorful and handled well for light and shadow. I do like Isaac's crop since the joy of the little boy reaching out to touch the scarecrow is wonderful to witness. B Jun 16th
58 Jun 22 Reply Thank you Isaac. I'll look at the other sequence of images but they were all taken from the same vantage point since we had just hopped out of the car and had to keep on traveling. B

58 Jun 22 Comment Gloria - This is a smiler! Your timed this perfectly, catching the expressions on both the man and the dog (they both seem happy). Simple and straightforward image; framed well to focus the viewer's attention on the man and his dog. I think this man would have been pleased to have a copy of this photo. B Jun 16th
58 Jun 22 Comment Les - You definitely caught the impressive action of this guy and his dough. I wondered whether this should be cropped more but then decided that I like how you balanced your main subject with the busyness of the kitchen and the rest of the crew. Hopefully you sampled the pizza---looks like the crust would be nice and thin. B Jun 16th
