Bill - Both really well framed and really sharp images. While I like the bridge in the darker image the rest of the photo has little information to add context to it. The lighter image is overall more interesting and pleasing. B |

Gloria - I like how you were able to capture color, motion and space in this image. Looking at the colored bricks ---- did they continue as a path? A Passau version of 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road"? I imagine you were walking behind these two when you took the image. The perspective of the stones leading to the top of the image (larger to smaller) helps the viewer with action. B |

Les - Wonderful colors and detail. As I studied the man I was trying to decide if he is a 'working man' or possibly 'homeless' (though I am not sure of that status in Cuba). His pants and shoes, and possibly the stick, tell me he is a 'working man'. Then I look further and see only one sock and possibly several layers of other clothing (in a hot climate). His squint adds some mystery. What is he thinking? B |

Isaac - You captured a lot (in a good way) in this image. There is the action on the street showing the people shopping and the interaction between the father and twin girls. I have not been to Israel ---- your photo gives me a good idea of Friday morning's shopping. I think you could also create a slightly different image just showing the interaction between father and daughters by cropping the around the image further (and cloning out the woman's dress). B |
