Daniel - I went back to the last several months of your images. You seem to get a lot of great mileage from the boardwalk by the beach. This one is another fine example (have you considered putting them together to show)? I didn't see the title at first and my first reaction to it was 'walking'..... the action of the bird made me chuckle while the couple on the beach also add to the action of an otherwise static photo (which is interesting on its own merit). I like the use of the parallel, horizontal lines in the stairs, fence and the horizon. The colors are muted and pleasing. B |

Les - I am trying to find you in the 'Bean'. It is tough to photograph without being in the image. I like how you captured the 'bean', the people looking at it, and the reflections in the shiny surface. On my laptop, the image seems over sharpened and over saturated. There are many artefacts in the building (.... I like to write my comments before I look at what others have said and see now that others had made similar comments). B |

Isaac - thanks for sharing the back story of the trainer and for the other photos shared as well. The image clearly shows the trainer's pride of being profiled in the French journal. I am sure that he takes it out to show every visitor. The trainer stands out in the photo with his red/orange shirt, the journal is sharp, and the background is blurred but still allows the viewer to understand the context of where the action is occurring. Wow. You really 'nailed' this image. The riders are well focused while the background is blurred without losing the context of what it is. The riders are so casual and clearly relaxed about riding the motorcycle that the woman can fix her hair and ride without holding on to the driver (and of course without helmets). B |

Thanks Isaac. I agree that the additional crop focuses the image better. B |
