Your capture of the rower looking at you directly with just a hint of smile adds to the photo.... as Gloria stated: engages the viewer into the picture. Nicely balanced, contrasting colors with a little action occurring from the rower. I liked the 'Dragon Rock' as well (thanks for sharing). B |

I really like the image composition with the three people in varying poses. The curvature to the outside of the blocks along with the center blocks make for interesting viewing. You captured the textures of the abandoned building (so why are they putting us a new sign??) which adds another layer of interest to the photo. Unfortunately, the mid-day lighting is harsh but you captured a really good photo. I wonder if B&W allows for the same representation and with a little ACR lessons the impact of the harsh mid-day light? B |

Beautiful image. A place I need to visit in the future as my maternal grandfather came to the US from Romania (I have no idea from where). Your lines leading out of the image with the two people walking add to the overall composition. The rays from the two streetlights set against the dusk are beautifully exposed along with the colors of the buildings. B |

The hand really makes the photo. Without it, it is a very good shot of the portal; sharp and well-balanced. The hand makes it 'street photography' by putting a living person into the image. Looking at the hand allows me to ponder.... were they praying, pointing out something interesting, or perhaps just waving to a friend? B |

Will this person ever reach the end or is this infinity? You captured the seemingly endlessness of the gallery with a combination of well-balanced perspective and the bright orange colors. I agree with Gloria that a slight crop would eliminate what to me was a little distracting (the markings on the wooden column). B |
