58 Dec 20 Comment In some ways there are two sets of lights leading me to the Capitol. The lights on the left of the image (yes, a little bright) and also the main road lights that recede into the distance with the Capitol at the end. Thanks for sharing. B Dec 16th
58 Dec 20 Comment The bright, contrasting colors set off an image that is fun to look at. The women appear to be enjoying their conversation perhaps taking a brief rest from the morning market (bags full). I like the way the image is framed by the doorway, stairs, and the small green (boarded up?) window. Everything in the image is sharp and even with the ISO there is no noise. B Dec 16th
58 Dec 20 Comment That is one intense stare by the main subject in the middle. As a result, the man on the left of the frame looking elsewhere is a less interesting part of the photo. Cropping on the left to the leave just the two men on the right might be more powerful. There is something either in the processing (cropped image?) or a result of the bright lighting that takes a way from the image itself. B Dec 16th
58 Dec 20 Comment I like the idea that the image makes me wonder what this guy is seeing and like the framing of the left/right sides. While the trees are both interesting they could probably be toned down a bit as the one in the rear is where I looked first before focusing on the man in the middle, the main subject. B Dec 16th
58 Dec 20 Comment Your image made me laugh, especially with the man walking through the scene and watching the two women posing for their friend. As a result, there is a lot of action going on in this small frame; woman posing, woman taking their photo, and the man walking by. I think you could take down some of the highlights and maybe add a little saturation as the high sun appears to wash out the image. B Dec 16th
58 Dec 20 Comment The perspective of this shot is terrific as is keeping a great deal of the sand around the subjects. I wonder if this woman met her 'goal' with the last of the sun's rays and hope that is not her child playing by the sea while the mom naps. B Dec 16th
