Simple, poignant, expressive. I like how the window frame is being used to frame the scene. It would be interesting to see this in B&W as well. Thank you.

Having worked in NYC for almost 40 years I appreciate the every day simplicity of this scene and the Empire State in the fog. While nothing remarkable in the scene it expresses NY well. B&W is great for the fog. Thank you. |

I like how you captured the action of the people in the background walking away and the freezing of the pigeons on the rail. The open pigeon wing is striking in B&W and leads the viewer to the people in the background. Thank you! |

Love the three and really impressed with your post processing (please share your secret here!?). You can feel the action in the photo through their hands, facial expressions and especially the feet. Love the wonderment of the onlooking boy and his uneven socks. Thank you! |

The photo really captures the joys of summer. The fast shutter speed and good focus adds to creating a 'cool' scene on a hot day. The playful interaction between the two young women captures the fun they are obviously having in the water. A vertical crop could add more focus to the young women. Thank you! |

This image really caught my attention with the contrasting colors and bright orange monks. The reflection of the monks adds depth to the image. I especially like that I cannot see the standing monk's head in the water (its a bit more ethereal). While this crop works I agree it might be interesting to see it as a vertical shot. Thank you! |
