Cold Spring!
Some aspects of the photo that I liked and caught my attention. All 5 of the people in the photo are looking in different directions and the long shadow from the two young woman on the left of the frame are in the same angle as the foreground curb and the cement wall. I like the straight horizon against the other angles of the photo. |

Really like the tight focus on the action of the feet and the dancer's bright colors. Using the higher ISO adds some noise (remember 'grain'?) which adds some interest for me.
It looks like there was some post processing on the left side of the image above his foot and along side the sari that could be further fixed a bit.

Nice catch! I really like that you included the woman with the braids. Her hair color matches the mural and it did take me a moment to realize that there was not another real person in the photo looking at her. Not sure if you could bring the highlights above the fence but even if you do not, the contrasting brightness did not distract me from the woman and mural.

The Vessel has become an iconic structure on the West Side which because of its size and scale is definitely a challenge to photograph.
I like your description of the bees in the honeycomb and that you had a goal in mind when setting up your shot - - - a good lesson for me.
Original 2 also really drew me into the photo, capturing the concentric levels and the focal point at the bottom.

Ah, serenity. After a long day this photo really brought down my blood pressure.
My eyes were first drawn to the child going up the stairs then to the woman in the shop. Her soft focus actually enhanced the scene for me --- somehow adding a more serene feeling.

What a great shot! Looking at this photo makes me smile and reminds me of our own visit to Cuba in March 2018. I am pretty certain that I did see this woman posing in Havana and I am very certain that I did not photograph her since I was too cheap to pay her to pose for me (I'm still too cheap!).
The colors in this photo are really striking, especially with the yellow background. I am sure it was a lot of work to also get the colors of the flower and her fan to show so well without being over saturated.
