Jeffrey, my problem with a title is that we all try to let the image speak its name to us. And whenever I see a picture of a Secretary Bird (I've never been fortunate enough to see one in life) it seems like it doesn't know where it fits in nature. It's size and posture suggest something regal. But the plumage and shape border on the comical. Even its name, "Secretary", doesn't help me understand its nature. I found one suggestion that its feathers can be used as quills. Farmers like them because they eat snakes. Although I personally don't like titles that try to be funny, I guess I'm inclined to follow Thorro and Sophia with something cute like "What Am I?".

Thorro, I too prefer the original sky, though darkened. I found the replaced sky distracting because the sharp dividing line in brightness extends the line of the branch on which the bluebird is sitting. I really like the scraggly |

I really like the scraggly texture of the branch and don't want my attention to be drawn away from it. I agree with Jeffrey's suggestion of darkening the original sky. |

I agree with all the comments above. But the energy I see is the interplay between the living plants invading the window and the old chair inside. The crop that I think magnifies this conflict maintains the wonderful textures of the walls and the chair, although the outside plants are invading their space. |

Thorro. I think it's funny how a blemish which I've never noticed becomes a serious flaw once I take the time to look closely. Thanks for getting me to look closer. |
