Matthias, I like Thorro's edit. And I really like your composition which has the lowest branch of the tree be almost a mirror reflection of the ridge of the mountains below it in the image. |

Thorro, your bio says that you're seeking constructive feedback, and I have essentially none for this picture. I love the texture in the cliff face, and the water pouring down seemingly out of the sky. I think the trees penetrating the sky are also important. The only minor suggestion I'd offer is that I think I prefer the original (unedited) sky over the more saturated blue sky. The more saturated sky draws my attention away from the cliff face washed by the falling water. For me the edited sky also is a (too?) strong contrast with the palette of the cliff face, especially because it has no texture. |
