Thank you. To me a good portrait shows impact. This can be because of the impact of the image or because it shows connection between model and author. Some might argue that this portrait has no connection because you can't see the models eyes. But I think it gives it more impact. |

Hi all. Thank you for your lovely comments. It was taken against a black backdrop and I was using a small soft box not directly on her but kinda bounced off a white wall. Conversion would have been in camera raw. I love the colour pic but changed it to black and white for my Guild of photographers qualified panel. I got the dress in a second hand shop and it was a bit small for her but I had to use it! |
