You are turning into the master of Still Life Mark.
I really like this image, repeating patterns are somehow soothing. While the lamp with its interesting cut out openings and soft candle light is the subject it is producing, for us, a wonderful pattern of light and dark. That pattern is not only leading the eye toward the subject in all directions it has its own depth with the dark and light stripe pattern. Your exposure and composition is just right and I like the square framing. Nice find, or should I say nice eye! |

Max, this is a great still life image. Your use of complimentary colors with the bottles adds a color harmony to the shot as does the green foliage background. The bottles themselves are simple, yet so interesting with different heights, shapes and looks. I really like how they are all varied and yet all part of a cohesive whole. Very nice work. |

Wonderful use of depth of field here Andrew. The beautiful poppy is the star, yet the viewer is treated to a whole field of beauty in the background. Of course your white vignette helps with the overall dreamy look too. I particularly like how you have used the purple flowers to compliment and frame the orange poppy. Very nice detail in the petals and throughout and the colors and composition are spot on. Nice image, print it and hang it! |

Thanks Mark, look close. That is downtown Pittsburgh. I like to do stuff like this, but I have a hard time coming up with ideas. Also, my Photoshop skills are limited so anything advanced has me viewing You tube instructions for help. |
