Thanks Lane, now that you bring it up I can't unsee it. It does look like it is floating in air. I will need to find suitable backgrounds for future still life shots. |

Well Harley, that is closer to an ant than I wanted to be. You really got some scary detail on that little guy. If my wife saw this the exterminator would be on the way to our house. I do like the original better for the composition and "portrait" of the ant. The altered version is more the "SCI FI" look, as others have mentioned. You now have an ant prop for other "scary" photos. |

Very nice detail of this showy flower Lane. I really like the subtle colors--pinks and greens in the center. You promised spring and you delivered. Nice work on the exposure here, not always easy with lighter colored blooms. |

This is a wonderful image Bunny. I feel like I am seated in that Jeep with my camera looking for game to shoot. The inclusion of the dash detail along with the drivers hand really seals that feeling for me. As for the painterly look you nailed it. I just keep looking at this and feel like I am there. Great work, and the frame is perfect for the image. |

Your image has a lot of color and excitement in it Leo. Your use of the fish eye lens helped capture a good bit of the scene. I like the confetti falling on the performers and I also like that we see some photographers down low, shooting the performers. You are telling a story here and it looks like a fun time. Nice. |

Very nice Andrew and well executed. Your zoom leads me right to the red flower and the "blur" of the pink ones actually look like leading lines in the image. These types of shots are fun and not always easy to do. I would imagine a bit of trial and error to get the final image. As I look at your crop I was wondering if a square would work, but I think that most any crop would be nice and give a bit of a different view depending on how you feel that day. Good work. |
