Interesting use of the fisheye Leo. I like your choice of subject with the conical roof structure and interesting light feature. The distortion created by your lens has given us a very interesting image to view. I feel the lines, both in the ceiling and on the floor work well to draw the viewers eye into the shot and the lone gentleman is a nice focal point centered between the two brighter light sources. I like your image a lot. |

Nice capture of the John Handcock building Harley. Your original is a nice grab shot and your finished copy is a cool creative--almost like you went to the Van Gogh school of photo re-touching. Did Anthropics create the sky or did you need to tell it what to do? I am not familiar with the program. Good work. |

Early morning colors are beautiful and make most subjects look their best and this is no exception. The texture and lines in the sand give your shot so much interest and the clumps of grass provide nice focal points. The valleys make nice leading lines to bring our eye into the shot. Mark, I am wondering how this would look as a vertical cutting off the left third of the image. The grass clump on the left is not helping and as a vertical the leading valleys would bring us into the shot and make the one large clump the star of the show. Just a thought. |

Nice soft moody image Lane. Very impressionistic looking with the subtle colors and soft tones. I like it very much. Just a bit of a suggestion for you. I feel the tips of the rods should be visible--change of crop or Photoshop magic could do that. Also, given the power of the new tools in Photoshop you might try to remove the guy in the orange shorts who we really can't see. No big deal though. Nice work. |

Andrew, you have really sliced a piece of this leaf with your f/2.8 aperture. Your subject is a nice one with the delicate and interesting leaves of the tree. The water on it just adds to the effect. Your in focus area is a very small section of your image and while that calls attention to what you want us to see you are leaving a lot of real-estate in the out of focus area--especially at the top of the image. You might try a tighter crop which could eliminate the brighter upper portion of your shot and help direct all attention on the subject. This would still give a nice interpretation of the subject. |

Thanks Mark. I thought the exposure was correct when i submitted the image, but upon close inspection here you are absolutely correct. Thanks for the updated image. |
