I really like fog and you have captured it well in the scene. It is a great New England scene of a Lighthouse and associated buildings. You even got the flag to unfurl for your shot. The colors are nice and soft and the fog makes them even more so. I like your foreground element of the rocks which anchor and lead us into your image. If this were my image I would put a little glow where the light is on the lighthouse to show it doing its job, but that's just me. Very nice shot. |

I really like the softness of this image Linda. The cowgirl on her steed kicking up dust with the glow of the setting sun in the background makes a wonderful image. You have exposed this image just right, in my opinion. I like the fact that I can see the woman and she in not in complete silhouette. The dust swirling around her horse and the surrounding brush tell us a great story. The soft, warm tones are very appealing. As for your crop--at first I felt the left should be cropped out showing just the rider and the sun. Then I looked at Marks version and realized all three work and the view you are showing us does tell the whole story. It has nice symmetry with a sunset lighting the scene. Nice image. |

Well this is an interesting architectural structure and it makes a great photo subject. Lots of impact, especially with the sky looking like it was painted just for this photo. I feel the subtle shades of light and dark on the building help bring out all the interesting twists and turns in the design. You photographed this image at the right time of day for sure. I really like this Andrew. Only change I could suggest is to eliminate the "stop" line on the pavement in the lower right near your signature. It just doesn't seem to fit. |
