Nice portrait of the Gull Harley. You caught him in action which is desirable and your focus is spot on. You have separated him from the background well making him the star of the shot. My only suggestion would be to darken the background just a tad to make him even more prominent in the frame. |

Well, as they say, The Eyes Have It. Well composed and exposed Mark. You have captured the curiosity of the cat in your image. I just wonder what she is thinking. I feel the small edits Linda has suggested work well and add to the shot, otherwise great work. |

I am not familiar with ICM, but I do like your image. There is power in the waves and the surreal look adds to that feeling. I think your use of muted colors focuses all the attention on the action and works well. I do like the tilt of the wave from left to right and you would lose this if you "straightened" the image. I suggest you try to crop right at the intersection of sky and water, that way all we see is a consistent look of angry sea and this would split your image into thirds on the horizontal. Very interesting shot, please share how you accomplished this. |

I like how you have processed this image Linda. The monotone works very well and your subject is front and center amid fine detail work that just adds to the look of the image. I like how the horizontal wires serve as stepping stones for the eye working its way to the subject. You have a lot going on here and it all works together to make a wonderful image. |

I like the way the water and color of the railings on the left are leading my eye into your shot Leo. Your image has a nice symmetry to it and looks like a peaceful street. I would like to see a bit more detail in the boats on the right--perhaps you could brighten them up just a bit. Otherwise very nice work. |

I like the perspective you have chosen Andrew, the slant implies motion and the fact that the children are looking back does too. Your image is nice and sharp which gives us a good look at the scene and the faces of the folks. Leading lines right to the subject and vibrant colors--what's not to like? I do agree with Linda that a bit more space at the bottom would help, in fact some all around would be OK too. Nice shot, I can almost hear them screaming. |
