Thanks for your comment Alex. Flowers in the field are definitely touch to capture sharply. The wind is always moving them one way or another. It is best to find a sheltered location and use some type of block on the windward side. Luck plays a big part too. |

Love those eyes. Great capture Mark, she looks close enough to pet! Love the composition and the colors of your shot. I don't know what the fence looked like, but no traces of it in the image--I will have to try that technique next time I'm at the zoo. I do agree with Linda about the highlights on the tail, but you might try to just tone it down a bit as I really like the crop with room all around. Nice shot. |

Isn't that just like the weather, sunny when you want clouds and vice versa. Well I think you have done well with the bright day. Even with the contrast between dark mom and the light feathered teens you handled the range well with proper exposure on all. A nice family shot for sure that tells a story. Well captured. |

Ah yes, Spring. Glad it is here already. I really like the layers you are showing in this image Linda. You have foreground, mid-ground, farther away mid-ground, background and a bank of clouds thrown in for good measure. Your image has a three dimensional quality that is so hard to capture on a flat surface. It has a wonderful artistic look. Looks like you learned lots in your class. Nice work. |

Very nice composition of the butterfly and flowers Leo. You nailed the focus on the subject and what a great pose it is. I think the colors are quite nice and I do like the bokeh in the background although I think you might tone those highlights down a bit so all the focus is on the butterfly.
Nice shot with lots of resolution. |

I like how your image leads my eye right into the shot with interesting stuff to see on both sides of the lane. I too love exploring places like this. One never knows what great photo opportunities will arise. Your image is tack sharp and the colors and texture are very strong. I wonder what the image would have looked like if you angled your lens a bit to the right so we could see more of the art on the trains. It too looks colorful and interesting. Nice capture Alex. |
