65 Feb 26 Reply Thank you, Dick for sharing the information about the blue cast on snow. I always thought snow needed to be white, but now I can embrace the winter blues. Feb 18th
65 Feb 26 Comment You captured incredibly sharp details throughout the image. Love the variety of textures. Nice colors. The yellow really pops. You framed the lichens perfectly. It looks like a painting. I like the added vignette David presented as well. Either way it's beautiful. Great eye finding the beauty in nature. Well done, Maria Feb 12th
65 Feb 26 Comment Love the shape and vibrant colors of the flower. Nice background. The snow tells a story of winter. Nicely placed in the frame. I would prefer the flower to be sharper. Feb 10th
65 Feb 26 Comment Nice shot, Mark. Love peace lilies. I have one of my own that I photograph when it blooms. I really like the black and white version. If you brighten and whiten the petals it would improve the image. Then, the lovely curves of the flower would pop against the black background. Feb 10th
65 Feb 26 Comment Nice shot, David. This mum retained its' lovely curves and texture despite being frozen. The vertical orientation worked well. There is a blue cast on the snow. I would whiten the snow. Feb 8th
65 Feb 26 Comment Lovely portrait of an old rose. Dried flowers have great texture. I always keep my dried flowers, especially the roses. It seems that each rose dries differently portraying their own character. You captured nice details and good depth of field. The light is pleasing. There is a minor bright spot outside the petal on the right side. I would prefer a darker black background. Nicely done, Denise. Feb 7th
65 Feb 26 Reply Thank you, David. I like your interpretation. Now, I can see that story too. Feb 3rd

99 Feb 26 Comment Love the effects produced by the IR camera. The white foliage and dramatic steaks in the sky adds impact. Incredible texture on the water and shoreline. Nicely composed with the pier leading out to the white flag. Great job, Mark. Feb 14th
99 Feb 26 Comment Love the vertical arrangement of the flowers leading up to the butterfly. The butterfly tells the story. Nice textured background. Sharp details. Good tonal variations.
Lovely!

99 Feb 26 Comment Great dark and moody minimalist image. I would be proud to hang this image on my wall. Love the silhouettes. Nicely composed. The texture added a vintage feel. I really like it. Nice job, Robin. Feb 12th
99 Feb 26 Comment Great minimalist composition. The image evokes a feeling of peace and solitude. Good perspective and depth of field. Love the lines and texture throughout the desert landscape. The man on top of the hill makes this image successful. Well done, Kathleen. I like it. Feb 9th
99 Feb 26 Comment Great shot, Peter. You captured a good story and composed it well. The rain (which I can see clearly) pouring on the backs of the spectators and players adds emotional impact. Nicely exposed. Very well done. Feb 8th
99 Feb 26 Comment Great shot of the ballerina. Love the light and shadows. You captured the twinkle in her eyes. Her seated posture while she is tending to her foot and her serious facial expression tells your story. Sharp details throughout including the wispy hair poking out. Well done, Maude. Feb 7th
