Great job capturing the texture, shapes, pattern, and color on the plant. Love the tack sharp details on the dew drops. Good depth of field. You have a good eye spotting this image. Nicely done, Maria.

Great presentation of the rose hips in its' natural habitat. The red fruit is eye catching. Love the texture. Perfectly composed. You captured the fine details on the plant nicely. Well done, Dick. |

Lovely! Love the white magnolia against the black background. It pops. The petal hugging the stamen has an extra bit of light and seems to glow. Well exposed with nice details. Very pleasing to my eye. |

Welcome to our group, Denise. Beautiful! The orange beauty pops against the nicely blurred green background. Sharp details in the center. The softer petals in the back gives more depth to the image. I like it. My only suggestion would be to crop it a bit. I think less background would enhance the flower. Nice job, especially handheld.

Love this old beauty. It dried beautifully. Dried flowers have so much texture and character. Nicely composed with sharp details. I like the teal background complementing the red sunflower. Well done. |

Hi Kathleen,
Nice shot of the old fountain with the water droplets in the air. Good texture on the fountain. I like how droplets lead my eye up towards the bridge and then back down to the fountain. Thank you for sharing. |

Nice shot, Robin. You caught the jump perfectly as Tulsi's feet were off the ground and her hair was flowing. Nicely composed. The subject is sharp and stands out against the texture of the forest. I like it. Good job. |

Nice shot, Mark. You captured sharp details of the water lily, especially handheld. The pads in the background add interest. Good tonal variation. Cropping the right side a bit, as Peter has suggested, would remove the bright leaf and also the part of another pad. Well done. |

Hi Jared,
The image has nice texture and tones. I know it's a teddy bear, but without your description I see it as an abstract. As an abstract it keeps my interest exploring the shapes and texture. I think I might crop the bottom of the frame below the teddy bear's head. It's a memorable photo of a very sad day. |

Love this story. The child reading her book, the teddy bear, and the lady in deep thought seem to be unrelated to one another. The teddy bear is the star in this image. He is so cute patiently waiting. You composed it well and captured sharp details. Nice light and shadows. Great job, especially with your phone. |

Great environmental portrait. Nicely composed with tonal variations. The expression in his eyes as he is leaning forward in his chair amidst his surroundings tells a good story. The scene is well suited for monochrome. Well done, Maude. |
