65 Aug 25 Comment Great composition, Dick. You captured the fine details and texture of the milkweed perfectly. Love the white floss throughout the image which is incredibly sharp. Nice lighting and background. It held my interest and kept my eye exploring for a bit. Nicely done. Aug 8th
65 Aug 25 Comment Lovely shot, Maria. Your dried thistle flower has character and great texture. Nicely composed with sharp details. The flower pops out of the pleasing green background. Dried flowers are uniquely beautiful. Love it! Aug 8th

65 Aug 25 Comment Love it! The flower glows with vibrant colors and great texture. You captured incredibly sharp details and DOF. The pattern of the bud adds interest. The highlighted center and the bright perimeter creates the glow which adds impact. Great shot, Mark. Aug 6th
65 Aug 25 Reply Thank you, Mark. I applied the texture over the flower, added a mask, and brushed the texture off the flower in Photoshop. Dick, David, and you suggest cropping it. I will crop it. Everyone's feedback is helpful. Aug 6th

65 Aug 25 Comment Gorgeous! Love the explosion of color and fine details. This variety of dahlia has many curves and twists which you captured nicely. We had the same idea for this month. It's interesting there are so many varieties of dahlias, and each one is so different. Your dahlia is beautiful. Great shot, David. Aug 3rd
65 Aug 25 Reply Thank you, David. I appreciate your feedback. Initially, I did crop it. Then, I decided to present a minimalist composition for a change. Aug 2nd

99 Aug 25 Comment Great architectural shot, Mark. Nicely composed drawing my eye into and through the frame. The symmetrical composition worked perfectly. Sharp details. Good tonal variations throughout. Thanks for sharing a great view of the bridge. I never saw it in person. Nice job! Aug 10th
99 Aug 25 Comment Hi Robin,
This image has strong impact. The story of the doll is interesting and filled with memories.
Without reading your story, my first impression is it's a doll from the Twilight Zone. It truly looks like the doll has risen from the dead (which it had), and it is walking towards me without an arm and a leg. It's creepy. You captured incredible details, and placed it in the frame to create tension. The black background adds to the mystery. Great image!

Nice shot, Kathleen. Great perspective encompassing the airplane against the vast landscape. The man walking towards the aircraft as the propellers are spinning tells the story he's about to embark on a journey. Well composed. I wonder if you darkened the landscape in the background if the plane would stand out more. Either way, it looks good.

Great composition, Peter. The young lady's expression and posture tell a story, and makes one wonder what is she thinking or looking at. The background adds to the story. Good perspective. The sepia toned subject gives it an extra punch. Well done. I like it.
