Love this dreamy, swirly Lensbaby effect. The white snowdrop pops against the background. I prefer your original image. It has more depth, and appears as if you are traveling in space towards a black hole. I really like the ethereal effect of the Helios lens. Nice job, David. |

Striking image of the pink water lily against the dark pond water. The water droplets add interest. I would crop the image to eliminate some of the background. Nicely done, Maria. |

Nice perspective of this lovely daisy. The flipped petals give it an attitude. The orange flower pops against the soft green background. Great shot, Diana. |

Love the shape and curves of the plant. Good perspective. The two flowers appear to be talking to each other. The light is pleasing. Complementary colors add pop. You captured sharp details. I like it. Well done, Dick. |

Thank you, David. The plant is twice the size presented. I cropped it to improve the composition. I see now I also should have removed part of the stem on the left side. |

Beautiful portrait of Tallulah. I like your perspective. You captured her beauty and the twinkle in her eyes. The whites are perfectly exposed. It's lovely and nicely done. |

Nice shot, Kathleen. You captured a good story and composed it well. The firefighter walking into the frame rolling up the hose adds interest. Well exposed. I would prefer more contrast between the pavement and subject matter. Nicely done. |

It's a tree in the background. I left it there to create depth, but I can easily remove it if you think its' distracting. Thank you for your suggestion, Peter. |

Lovely portrait of Caitlin with a story. Love the expression in her eyes. You captured all the fine details (eyelashes, hair, twinkle in her eye) perfectly. Nicely composed. Well done, Peter. |

Yes, I do now. Love the curves and twists of dried leaves. They have character as well as beauty. There are so many leaves, and yet each one dries differently. |

Nice close up shot, Gerard. The shape and curves of the branch, buds, and leaf coupled with its' placement in the frame worked well. Great details. I like the light and shadows. I wonder if you included some of the original background it would add depth to the image. The image is great but it lacks depth. It looks flat and pasted onto the grey background. I have this same issue when I try to select the subject and use a different background. I try to blur the original background. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. It's fun experimenting. |
