65 Jul 24 Comment Hi Esther,
Nice colors and texture. I like the darkened background. However, the image appears to be a bit out of focus. I see that it was a bit windy. When it is windy I set my shutter to a high shutter speed to capture sharper details. Your POV captured the beauty of the opened and unopened buds nestled among the green leaves.

65 Jul 24 Comment Hi Maria,
You captured sharp details on the flower and bee. The colors are very pleasing to my eye. Nicely composed. I think your square crop with the extra negative space gives the image an airy, peaceful mood. I like it.

65 Jul 24 Comment Hi Dick,
This is a lovely image. Great color and texture on the milkweed. Well exposed. The sharp details against the out of focus background worked well. Nice job.

65 Jul 24 Comment Hi David,
Simply beautiful! Your soft and dreamy presentation of the anemone is well done. Your perspective captured its' beauty nicely against the clean background. Its nice to learn you're a Lensbaby user too. I enjoy watching Dirk Ercken's dreamy flower videos on YouTube. Lovely!

99 Jul 24 Comment Nice shot of the old airplane, Kathleen. Good perspective of the airplane and the visitors beneath. Well exposed. Sharp details. The sepia tone complements the vintage aircraft. It is huge and you presented it nicely. Thank you for sharing. Jul 7th
99 Jul 24 Comment Hi Peter,
You captured the evil in his eyes perfectly. I probably would not have approached this man since he looks more demonic than crazy. Nicely composed with sharp details. I would remove the feather in his hair. The story is in his eyes and sinister smile. Great job.

99 Jul 24 Comment Hi Gary,
Nicely composed portrait of the dove. You captured good details and texture on the cactus. The dove is the subject and should be bright, which you accomplished. However, I think that the top of the cactus and its center should be less bright so that there is more contrast and separation between the cactus and the dove. I attempted to tone down the bright areas to give the dove more presence. In Lightroom using the brush I darkened the entire cactus. Using another brush I lightened the dove a bit. I also increased the contrast for the entire image. Great find.

99 Jul 24 Comment Hi John,
Nice architectural shot. The light and shadows enhance the texture on the building. The reflections of you and other elements add interest and pull my eye to the door. The sepia tone and frame adds an old world touch. I might crop the sky and foliage off the top, since I don't think it's needed. Great job.

99 Jul 24 Comment Hi Robin,
Great Wabi Sabi image. You captured a good story of the passage of time and the effects of nature on the vehicle. Nice details and texture throughout. Well exposed. Old and weathered subjects have so much character. I like it. The colored image must look great too.
