Hi Maria,
Gorgeous! You've captured the sharp details of the camellia nicely. Love the vibrant pink against the soft green background. The light and shadows add depth and interest. Great shot. |

Hi Esther,
Nice shot. The curves and tonal variation of the vine make it a very interesting subject. I love the warm, rich colors, especially the orange. You captured its' beauty nicely. |

Hi David,
Lovely image with striking colors. Your selective focus of the yellow bud and the dew drop worked well. The reflection in the dew drop adds interest. Nicely done. |

Hi Dick,
Great presentation of the pink dogwood flower. Well exposed. The entire flower and leaves are tack sharp. The lovely pink flower pops against your very pleasing background. Nice work. Thank you for sharing your technique to create the background. I like to shoot indoors and need good backgrounds. I will try your technique. |

Thank you, for your helpful tips and suggestions Dick. I have attached original. I applied a warm filter and caused the reddish tone. I see now that I should have left it alone. |

Thank you for your kind comments, Stephen. I need to watch that film. Joan Fontaine was a great actress like her sister, Olivia de Havilland. |

Hi John,
Great architectural shot of New York's skyscape. Good perspective and DOF. Well exposed. I agree with Peter's suggestions. Removing the white bands and increasing the contrast improves the image. Thank you for sharing this spectacular view. Nice job. |

Hi Gerard,
Striking image of the orchid. The smoothness of the petals looks like porcelain. The light and shadows on the flower accentuate its' lovely curves. Your selective focus on the stamen worked well. I might add a thin stroke around the image so that the stem is grounded. It appears to be floating, unless that was your intention. Nicely done. Love it. |

Hi Peter,
This is a simple, yet captivating image. Their eyes tell the story, which you captured nicely. The girl appears to be in deep thought, and the boy appears to be daydreaming. It's well exposed and tack sharp. The subjects pop against the plain white background. I would also crop it at the bottom as Gerard has suggested. Great shot. I like it. |

Hi Kathleen,
Great architectural shot. Your perspective encompassed all the lines, curves, and shapes within the magnificent cathedral. Nice tonal variation. You captured a good story leading to the altar. Love the sepia tone. Well done. |
